(L Photo) Thomas G. Plant loved hockey in his teen years.  His younger brother, (R Photo) William Plant, poses with pike from Lake Winnepasaki.  The Plant family loved hunting and fishing and took elaborate field trips throughout New England.  Castle in the Clouds, in Moultonborough, New Hampshire, built by T. G. Plant.  Both Thomas and William traveled often to Scotland.  Margaret, Wiiliam's wife, was a close friend of T.G., and spoke often of her father from Aberdeen, Scoltand, who fought in the battle of Lucknow in India.  When her father came to America, he married, and joined the Union Army at the onset of the Civil War.  Six months after joining, Margaret was born and would never see her father, as he was killed in action.
